Dear Friends,

Do you ever feel like you just might buckle under the pressure? Whether it's the holiday season or the everyday adventure of motherhood, how we hold overwhelm is the difference between stress and serenity. As a part-time coach and mom of two, I'm learning the lessons again and again even as I teach them!

I offer up my experience below plus a special "holiday survival" section this month called Top Tips. Whatever your stage of motherhood, I hope you feel inspired and supported each month to live more fully and joyfully. My mission is to bring you simple, practical ideas that you can use right now to usher in more energy, time and, dare I say balance. 

Heads up for 2009! Next month, the focus will be on designing your most Vibrant Year Yet. Get ready for tools, tips and advice on everything from raising your kids right, to finding more me-time, to launching a home based business and so much more!

How are you faring this holiday season? Between having kids out of school over Thanksgiving, a long weekend trip to visit the in-laws, my uncle’s funeral in Kentucky, a 5-day visit from my parents, coaching clients and being a mom on top of it all...I'd say I've got my work cut out for me!

Are you very far away from what you'd envisioned the year's end celebrations would be? Stop and take a deep breath! And if it's not working for you, let it go. My wish for you is to find a little peace amidst the chaos of the season.

Overwhelm is pretty common at this time of year, which is why I've put on my coaching cap and come up with some reminders that we can ALL apply in our own lives....

Top 5 Tips for Banishing Stress This Holiday Season

  1. Stop and breathe often. This seems so simple, but start to notice when you are holding your breath. Deep breathing clears your mind. I will often practice breathing in peace and breathing out stress.

  2. Let go of 75% of what you think you need to do! Being busy is overrated. Your family wants you to Be With them not Do For Them.

  3. Create a meaningful memory. Ask your family what they really enjoy about the holidays and make that a priority.

  4. Take better care of yourself than you usually do. Slow down and schedule some time away just for you.

  5. Embrace the unexpected. No matter how carefully you prepare, there is always something that blows your plan out of the water.

New Offerings

I am putting the final touches on my new coaching program, The Vibrant Mother©, specifically designed for mothers wishing to feel more vibrance, energy, and clarity. 

Three Offerings:

1. The Vibrant Mother© Group Coaching in Half Moon Bay (3 months)
The 3rd Tuesday of each month we meet as a group for 2 hours. You also receive one 45-minute individual coaching session each month.

2. The Vibrant Mother© Group Coaching Tele-class (6 months)
Designed to make it efficient and easy for busy moms to participate, this 6 month group tele-class will meet twice a month for one hour. A total of 12 group sessions.

3. Individual Coaching
Coaching is a powerful partnership that often leads to remarkable results. As a coach I provide structure, tools, accountability, and inspiration to move you forward.
