Just like you, my life has been a journey filled with change and opportunity. My path to coaching began with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Georgia State University. After graduation, I moved to Seattle to work as a residential therapist for Seattle’s Children’s Home. After a few years, I took a look at my core talents and found that my passion lay in the creative aspects of working with people and projects.
I poured myself into the challenging world of entertainment and media production. Nine years into this leg of my journey, I stopped. I listened to my heart and chose to redefine and redirect my career I had finally found the way to balance my nurturing spirit with my quest for adventure: Life Coaching.
I completed my training at the Coaches Training Institute in San Rafael, California, in 1999, and became a member of the International Coach Federation. Committed to enriching the lives of others, I joined top coaching consortiums, established a rich private practice and parlayed my athletic passion into becoming a ropes-course leadership instructor.
But I don’t just “talk the talk” I’m committed to “walk the walk” in my own life. Turning my personal fears into personal power. In one case, tackling a lifelong wariness of icy cold water head on by learning to surf in my 40s! I’ve proven to myself that I can do anything it’s never too late and “never” is a nasty word. You can do the same.
By looking deep inside and being true to myself, I have found a way to balance my sources of joy and my quest to make a positive impact in the lives of others. I have dedicated myself to helping mothers balance career, family and their personal creative pursuits. I can help you.
An avid athlete, I enjoy surfing, cycling and swimming. I live with my husband and two young children in Half Moon Bay, California.
